PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The controller of personal data for the online store\u00a0Medpharma.ee\u00a0is Medpharma O\u00dc, registry code 12200075, address Veerenni 53a, Tallinn 10138, phone +3726601333 and e-mail\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:medpharma@medpharma.ee\">medpharma@medpharma.ee<\/a><\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong>1.1 What personal data is processed?<\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/h3>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>name, phone number and e-mail address<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>goods delivery address<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>bank account number<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>cost of goods and services and payment-related data (purchase history)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>customer support data<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong>1.2 For what purpose is personal data processed?<\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/h3>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Personal data is used to manage customer orders and deliver goods.<br\/>Purchase history data (date of purchase, product, quantity, customer data) is used to compile an overview of purchased goods and services and analyse customer preferences.<br\/>The bank account number is used to refund payments to the customer.<br\/>Personal data such as email address, phone number and customer name are processed to resolve issues related to the provision of goods and services (customer support).<br\/>The IP address or other network identifiers of online store users are processed by the online store for the purpose of providing information society services and compiling web usage statistics.<\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong>1.3 Legal basis<\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/h3>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Personal data is processed for the purpose of fulfilling the contract concluded with the client.<br\/>The processing of personal data is carried out to fulfil a legal obligation (e.g. accounting and resolving consumer disputes).<\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong>1.4 Recipients to whom personal data is transmitted<\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/h3>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Personal data is transmitted to the online store&#8217;s customer support for managing purchases and purchase history and resolving customer issues.<br\/>The name, phone number and email address are forwarded to the transport service provider selected by the customer. If the goods are delivered by courier, the customer&#8217;s address will also be provided in addition to their contact information.<br\/>If the online store&#8217;s accounting is carried out by a service provider, personal data is transmitted to the service provider for accounting purposes.<br\/>Personal data may be transmitted to information technology service providers if this is necessary to ensure the functionality of the online store or data hosting.<\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong>1.5 Security and access to data<\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/h3>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Personal<\/strong>data is stored on Almic O\u00dc servers located in the territory of a European Union member state or a country that has joined the European Economic Area.<br\/>Access to personal data is available to employees of the online store, who can view personal data in order to resolve technical issues related to the use of the online store and provide customer support services.<br\/>The online store implements appropriate physical, organisational and information technology security measures to protect personal data from accidental or unlawful destruction, loss or alteration or unauthorised access and disclosure.<br\/>The transmission of personal data to the online store&#8217;s authorised processors (e.g. transportation service providers and data hosting) takes place on the basis of contracts concluded with the online store and authorised processors. Authorised processors are required to ensure appropriate security measures when processing personal data.<\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong>1.6 Access and storage of personal data<\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/h3>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Personal data can be accessed and amended in the user profile of the online shop. If the purchase was made without a user account, personal data can be accessed through customer support.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong>1.7 Withdrawal of consent<\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/h3>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If the processing of personal data is based on the customer\u2019s consent, the customer has the right to withdraw their consent by notifying customer support by e-mail.<\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong>1.8 Storage<\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/h3>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When closing an online store customer account, personal data will be deleted, unless such data needs to be retained for accounting purposes or to resolve consumer disputes.<br\/>If a purchase is made in the online store without a customer account, the purchase history is retained for three years.<br\/>In the event of disputes related to payments and consumer disputes, personal data is be retained until the claim is satisfied or the statute of limitations expires.<br\/>Personal data needed for accounting purposes is retained for seven years.<\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong>1.9 Deletion<\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/h3>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Personal data can be deleted by contacting customer support via e-mail. Requests for deletion are responded to within one month and the period of data deletion is specified.<\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong>1.10 Transfer<\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/h3>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A request for the transfer of personal data submitted via email will be responded to within one month at the latest. Customer support verifies identity and details the personal data that is subject to transfer.<\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong>1.11 Direct marketing communications<\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/h3>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The email address and phone number are used to send direct marketing messages if the customer has given their consent on the Mekelt.com website. If the customer does not wish to receive direct marketing messages, they must select the appropriate link in the footer of the email or contact customer support.<br\/>If personal data is processed for direct marketing purposes (profiling), the customer has the right to object at any time to both the initial and further processing of their personal data, including profiling related to direct marketing, by informing customer support via e-mail.<\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong>1.12 Resolving disputes<\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/h3>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Disputes related to the processing of personal data are resolved through customer support (<a href=\"mailto:info@mekelt.com\">info@mekelt.com<\/a>).\u00a0The supervisory authority\u00a0 is\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.aki.ee\/et\"><strong>the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0(<a href=\"mailto:info@aki.ee\">info@aki.ee<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n<div style=\"height:50px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>1.
